Avid Carp rods with varied construction

Avid Carp carp rods include models ranging from compact 10 ft designs to 13 ft rods designed for fishing at longer distances. The current range includes rods with test curves from 3.00 to 4.00 lb, offering a choice between more flexible blanks and powerful casting models. Shorter designs are complemented by classic 12, 12.6 and 13 ft rods, including models suited to the long-distance carp rods category.

Classic carp rods and specialist models

The range is based on two-piece rods, but the Avid Carp range also includes three-piece designs and models with a telescopic butt section. The latter retain their full usable length while offering more compact transport dimensions, and belong to the carp rods with a telescopic butt section group. The category is complemented by more powerful rods designed for casting spods and feature finding. They are also grouped in the SPOD and marker rods category.
