Avid Carp VTX and VTX+ Systems

VTX is a simpler system designed for carp anglers who expect clear operation and the ability to adjust sensitivity, volume and LED colour. The alarms can be paired with the VTX receiver, while individual components are also available separately. This allows you to add another alarm or replace one component of the set later.

VTX+ is a more advanced series. It offers a wider choice of LED colours and brightness levels, tone adjustment and a communication system designed to work with the VTX+ receiver. The alarm housings are sealed, and the SafeGuard system provides a warning via the receiver when one of the alarms is switched off.

Sets for Two, Three or Four Rods

Ready-made Avid Carp sets are available in 2+1, 3+1 and 4+1 configurations. They include the appropriate number of alarms and a matching receiver, so there is no need to select a receiver separately. Sets from both series can be compared with systems from other brands in the bite alarms with receiver category.

Expanding Your Existing System

A single Avid Carp bite alarm can be used for fishing with one rod, replacing a device or expanding a set. Such models can also be found in the broader single bite alarms category. When purchasing, pay attention to the series, as VTX and VTX+ alarms work with their respective receivers.

Avid Carp bite alarms combine adjustable bite indication, the option to choose the LED colour and rod security provided by deep snag ears with rubber inserts. The 2.5 mm socket also allows you to connect an illuminated hanger or swinger, provided that the indicator has a suitable plug.
