Shimano Tribal TX carp rods

Shimano carp rods are primarily centred around the extensive Tribal TX family. The current range includes carp rods in 9, 10, 12 and 13 ft lengths, with test curves designed for both lighter fishing and use with heavy setups. Individual variants differ in blank construction, power, number of sections and handle finish.

The Tribal TX family includes classic two-piece models, three-piece rods, as well as dedicated spod and marker rods. Individual versions differ in the grade of components used and price, while retaining the shared carp fishing profile of the series.

Short carp rods and distance fishing models

Shimano rods in 9 and 10 ft lengths form the more compact part of the range. Their smaller dimensions make transport and handling easier in tight swims and when fishing from a boat. The 12 and 13 ft models are designed primarily for bank fishing on open water. More powerful variants complement the long-distance casting carp rods category.

Shimano spod and marker rods

The range also includes rods designed for casting spod rockets and exploring the lakebed with a marker setup. SPOD models have the increased power required for baiting, while marker rods allow you to assess the structure and depth of the fishing spot. All of them are also grouped in the SPOD and marker rods category.
