JAG Rod Pods

JAG designs and manufactures carp rod pods and banksticks at its own facility in the UK. JAG RP2 rod pods allow you to set up two or three rods, with alarms and butt rests mounted directly onto separate banksticks.

RP2 Stainless 316 and Prolite Black

The Stainless version is made from 316 stainless steel. The Prolite Black uses aluminium with a black hard-anodised finish. Both designs feature a low, wide profile and removable banksticks, which can also be used independently of the base.

Sets include the rod pod base, six banksticks, wood screws and a carry bag. Accessories are mounted directly onto the banksticks, so the basic configuration does not require buzz bars.

Folding Arms and Base Mounting

Four rotating arms allow the RP2 to be folded with alarms and butt rests left attached to the banksticks. The carry bag accommodates the rod pod prepared in this way. Laser-etched markings make it easier to set the arm spacing.

The front and rear brackets allow the base to be screwed onto a wooden platform. The RP2 banksticks are also compatible with bankstick stabilisers, which can remain fitted when folding the rod pod.
