Telescopic Carp Rods

Telescopic carp rods with a short transport length
Telescopic carp rods feature a blank made up of several sections that slide into each other. This allows the rod to be shortened for transport without separating it into individual elements. When extended, a telescopic carp rod reaches a length comparable to classic two-piece carp rods, while taking up less space in the car, on a fishing trolley and when storing your gear.
A fully telescopic rod should not be confused with carp rods with a telescopic butt section. In the first design, several successive blank sections collapse into each other, whereas in the second, only part of the lower section is telescopic. As a result, telescopic carp rods have a much shorter transport length, but also a greater number of joints affecting the action of the entire blank.
10, 12 and 13 ft telescopic carp rods
The range includes telescopic carp rods in 10, 12 and 13 ft lengths, with test curves from 3.00 to 3.50 lb. Universal 12 ft models make up the largest part of the category. They are complemented by shorter 10 ft rods and longer 13 ft models.
Individual variants differ in their packed length, test curve, blank action, guides used and handle finish.
