JRC Product Ltd.
JRC Company was founded in Hatfield Peverel, Essex in 1992 by David Rudin, William Jelbart, Jeffrey Powell, and John Campbell, initially specializing mainly in the production of carp beds. The success of the single-person Cocoon bed designed by Jeff Powell, followed by the renowned lightweight, low-profile Stealth bed, prompted the owners to expand their range further. In the early 2000s, JRC's offerings began to include products such as the STI Brolly, Terry Hearn Cocoon Bedchair, and the Quad and Skyliner rods.
In 2007, the company was acquired by Shakespeare/K2 and relocated to Redditch, Worcestershire, where it became part of the brand portfolio owned by Pure Fishing Inc.
