Carp rods – from compact carp rods to distance models
Carp rods, also known as carp fishing rods or carp rods, now include designs intended for different fishing conditions. The ROCKWORLD range includes models for classic bank fishing, long-distance casting, bait boat fishing, stalking, as well as baiting and feature finding. The range includes both affordable carp rods and professional carp rods with fast blanks and refined fittings.
10, 12 and 13 ft carp rods in various designs
The most common carp rods are 10 ft (approx. 3 m), 12 ft (3.60 m) or 13 ft (3.90 m) long, but the range also includes shorter and more compact series. Alongside classic two-piece carp rods there are three-piece and telescopic models. Carp rods with a telescopic butt section retain the character of a take-apart rod while offering a shorter transport length. A separate group consists of travel carp rods, whose multi-section construction makes it easier to transport equipment even where luggage space is very limited.
Individual series differ in test curve, casting weight, action, guide layout, reel seat type and handle finish. As a result, the category includes both lighter carp rods designed for playing fish and more powerful rods adapted for dynamic casting with heavier rigs.
Carp rods for casting, bait boat fishing and baiting
Long-distance casting carp rods feature models with parameters that support fishing at long range when casting. Carp rods for bait boat fishing include designs used when fishing with rigs delivered by boat. SPOD and marker rods are designed for using spod rockets and marker setups.
Carp rods from renowned manufacturers
This category includes carp rods from brands such as Sportex, Shimano, Fox, Nash, Korda, Trakker, Prologic and Carp Spirit. The variety of prices, lengths and specifications makes it possible to find both a first carp rod and a specialist model for specific conditions. The setup can be complemented with carp reels designed to work with rods of different lengths and power ratings.
