The Avid Carp Ascent Spod Rod is a two-piece spod rod with a 5.5 lb test curve, designed for regular baiting with bait rockets. Powerful blank for baiting with a Spomb
Ascent Spod rods are built from high-modulus carbon fibre and feature a 5.5 lb test curve. This specification handles the loads generated when repeatedly casting a filled Spomb or other bait Rocket.
Multidirectional carbon and 1K weave
The blank uses multidirectional carbon fabric, which helps maintain stability under heavy loading. The external 1K weave further strengthens the construction while retaining the responsiveness and accuracy needed for baiting at range.
Sea-Guide Anti-Tangle 50–16 mm guides
Both Spod versions are fitted with Anti-Tangle XTG Sea-Guide guides with LS Zirconia inserts in a 50–16 mm configuration.
