Direct Drag Control
The front drag acts on the upper part of the spool and allows you to adjust the line release tension during the fight. In feeder fishing, smooth operation under light load is crucial, as the end section of the rig is often delicate. The adjustment range should allow both quick loosening and precise setting just below the leader’s breaking strength.
Spool and Line Lay for the Desired Distance
For longer casting, a spool diameter that limits the resistance of the line coming off and a clip that does not damage the line are useful.
