Sonik HEROX Spod & Marker Ceramic Carp Rod – spod and marker rod
The Sonik HEROX Spod & Marker Ceramic Carp Rod is a two-piece 12 ft rod with a 5.00 lb test curve, designed for baiting with a spod Rocket and feature finding. It allows you to prepare your fishing spot and deliver bait using a single rod.
5.00 lb carbon blank with progressive action
The slim, lightweight carbon blank features a progressive casting action, allowing its power to be gradually engaged when casting a spod rocket. Fast tip recovery reduces vibrations after the setup has been released. The 5.00 lb test curve defines the rod’s characteristics and does not indicate the maximum casting weight.
Zirconia ceramic guides and 50 mm butt guide
Low-friction Zirconia guides ensure smooth line flow during casting and retrieving. The Spod & Marker model features a 50 mm butt guide and an Anti-frap ceramic tip guide, reducing the risk of the line wrapping around the tip.
17 mm DPS reel seat and Sonik line clip
The black 17 mm DPS reel seat is designed for fitting Big Pit carp reels. The shaped Sonik line clip allows the line to be secured on the rod, while its design helps reduce the risk of line damage.
Two-piece construction and shrink Wrap handle
The 3.65 m rod consists of two sections. The slim handle is covered with Japanese shrink wrap material, while its enlarged butt section provides hand support when casting. The butt is finished with a black anodised cap featuring a laser-engraved „S” logo.
