Sonik HEROX Ceramic Carp Rod – 2-piece carp rod
The Sonik HEROX Ceramic Carp Rod is a range of 2-piece carp rods featuring a carbon blank and Zirconia ceramic guides. The available lengths and test curves allow you to choose a version suited to your preferred carp fishing style and the conditions at your swim.
Carbon blank with progressive action
The slim, lightweight blank features a progressive casting action and a fast-recovering tip. This characteristic allows the rod’s power to engage progressively during the cast, while the fast tip recovery reduces vibrations after releasing the rig.
Zirconia guides and Anti-frap tip guide
Low-friction Zirconia ceramic rings provide smooth line flow. The Anti-frap tip guide reduces the risk of the line wrapping around the rod tip. The 10 ft models feature a 40 mm butt guide, while the 12 and 13 ft versions are equipped with a 50 mm butt guide.
17 mm DPS reel seat and shaped line clip
The black 17 mm DPS reel seat is designed for fitting Big Pit carp reels. The shaped Sonik line clip allows the line to be held in place, and its design helps reduce the risk of line damage.
Shrink Wrap handle with flared butt end
The slim handle is covered with Japanese shrink wrap material. The flared butt end provides support for the hand when handling the rod. The butt is finished with a black anodised cap featuring a laser-engraved „S” logo.
