Buzz bars

Buzz bars are crossbars with fittings for bite alarms or rear butt rests. They form part of set-ups built on banksticks and rod pods. The range includes single buzz bars, front and rear sets, and models designed for specific rod pod systems.

Buzz bars for two, three and four rods

This category includes versions for two, three and four rods. Individual models differ in the number of mounting points and the spacing between them. Narrow crossbars for a compact rod set-up are available, as well as wider designs providing greater spacing between reels.

In selected sets, the front and rear buzz bars have different widths, allowing for converging or diverging rod positioning.

Fixed and adjustable width

Fixed-width buzz bars have unchangeable fitting spacing. Adjustable versions are equipped with extendable arms with locking mechanisms, allowing the width of the crossbar to be changed.

Width adjustment is a separate feature from the number of rods supported. A buzz bar for three rods may have either a fixed or adjustable design, depending on the model.

Mounting on banksticks and rod pods

Available options include buzz bars with a central fitting for one bankstick, as well as goalpost-style designs supported by two banksticks. A separate group consists of crossbars designed for specific models of rod pods and tripods.

Buzz bars compatible with carp banksticks form the front or rear part of the set-up. The connection method depends on the design of the crossbar and the mounting system used.

Construction materials and quick-release systems

The range includes aluminium and stainless steel buzz bars, as well as models using carbon fibre. Selected series also feature integrated quick-release systems, allowing accessories to be detached without unscrewing the thread each time. Quick-release connectors for bite alarms and banksticks are also available separately, suitable for bankstick designs with the standard thread used in angling.
