Carp Banksticks
Carp banksticks are used to mount bite alarms, butt rests and buzz bars. They allow rods to be positioned on separate support points or a setup with crossbars for several rods to be built. The range includes banksticks, storm poles and carp bankstick sets.
Banksticks, storm poles and bankstick sets
Banksticks are standalone carp supports with a head for attaching accessories. They can support a single bite alarm or butt rest and, when combined with buzz bars, form the basis of a setup for several rods.
This category also includes storm poles, also used for bivvies and umbrellas, as well as sets combining banksticks with other setup components. The contents of each set depend on the specific model.
Lengths, materials and point types
The range includes short banksticks for low rod positioning and long models enabling high support. Telescopic designs feature an extendable inner section and a locking mechanism to secure the selected length.
Available options include aluminium, stainless steel and carbon fibre banksticks. Individual series differ in diameter, locking mechanism design and head finish. Straight points are designed for pushing into the ground, while spiral points allow the bankstick to be screwed into the ground.
Threaded heads and quick-release systems
Banksticks are available in versions with threaded heads and with an integrated mechanical or magnetic quick-release system. The quick-release mechanism allows accessories to be detached without having to unscrew them from the bankstick each time. Separate quick-release adapters for bite alarms and banksticks form an additional group of mounting accessories.
The setup can be complemented with bankstick stabilisers and platform mounts, including ground stabilisers and stage stand mounts for wooden platforms.
