Rod Pods and Tripods for Carp Rods

Rod pods and tripods are stands designed to position carp rods on a single frame. They allow the fitting of bite alarms and rear butt rests, including on swims where banksticks cannot be pushed into the ground. The range includes compact models for low rod positioning, as well as larger constructions with long legs and a wide adjustment range.

Stands for Two, Three and Four Rods

This category includes rod pods and tripods in versions for two, three or four rods. Individual models differ in buzz bar width, leg placement and frame design. Classic rod pods usually feature four legs positioned at the front and rear of the stand, while tripods are based on a three-legged design.

Selected systems allow the configuration to be changed by using compatible buzz bars or additional components. The availability of such expansion depends on the specific model.

Frame, Leg and Rod Angle Adjustment

Depending on the design, the stands offer adjustment of frame length, support height and leg spread angle. Models with adjustable upper section tilt allow the position of all rods to be changed at the same time.

The range includes constructions that allow rods to be positioned close to the ground, as well as stands with long legs for high tip positioning. The adjustment range and number of included legs vary between sets.

Construction Materials and Set Contents

Available rod pods and tripods include aluminium models, stainless steel models and constructions using carbon fibre. Differences also include the folding method, complete set weight and transport dimensions.
