RidgeMonkey Escape XFi Airect Bivvy Kitchen Pod – bivvy kitchen extension
The RidgeMonkey Escape XFi Airect Bivvy Kitchen Pod is an inflatable side extension for the Escape XFi Airect Bivvy. It expands your swim with a sheltered area for preparing meals, eating and storing equipment during longer sessions.
Zip connection and inflatable Airect construction
The Kitchen Pod connects to the main bivvy via a zip running along the connection. The inflatable beam is filled through a single point, which is also used for deflation. Aluminium tension poles keep the fabric taut and support the extended side canopy. Guy ropes and reinforced pegging points allow the extension to be securely stabilised at your swim.
HydroX 150D fabric with a 15,000 mm hydrostatic head
The breathable, windproof HydroX fabric protects the additional room from the elements. Taped seams and storm flaps over the durable zips help prevent rain from penetrating through the connections. The extended canopy increases the sheltered area, while rain gutters channel water away from the fabric.
Side windows with mosquito mesh and roof vent
Two large side windows let in light and allow you to keep an eye on your surroundings. Mosquito mesh panels and an adjustable roof vent allow you to tailor the airflow. Configurable front doors further expand the options for shelter and ventilation within the room.
Removable PE groundsheet and detachable pockets
The separate groundsheet can be removed for cleaning and drying after your session. Detachable mesh pockets on the walls help keep small kitchen accessories organised. The 190 cm-high interior can also be used as additional storage space for equipment. Everything packs into a zip-up carry bag with transport handles.
