Sonik XTRACTOR Transition Carp Rod 10–12 ft – variable-length carp rods
The Sonik XTRACTOR Transition Carp Rod 10–12 ft is a two-piece carp rod featuring adjustable length via the Intra-loc system. It allows you to match the rod to the space available on your swim and the fishing conditions, using either a 10 ft or 12 ft configuration.
Intra-loc system for 10–12 ft length adjustment
The Intra-loc system allows the rod to be adjusted between two working lengths. The shorter configuration makes it easier to handle the tackle in confined spaces, while the longer option allows the 12 ft rod length to be used for casting. One model lets you adjust the length without reaching for a second rod.
High-modulus blank with BulletPoint construction
The blank is made from high-modulus, low-resin carbon fibre. The BulletPoint tip construction speeds up its recovery to the starting position after casting the rig, reducing vibrations and supporting casting accuracy. The matt 1K carbon weave reinforces the outer structure of the blank.
VARI-TAPER section joint
The VARI-TAPER joint technology is designed to maintain a smooth bending curve between the sections. The construction has been developed to ensure consistent rod action in both length settings.
American Tackle Ti-Forged Air guides with PVD coating
The 10–12 ft models are fitted with American Tackle Ti-Forged Air guides, including a 50 mm butt guide. The Shadow Black PVD coating provides a black finish and increases surface wear resistance. The American Tackle Delta Black Anti-frap tip guide features a NanoLite ceramic ring and reduces the risk of the line wrapping around the rod tip.
