Sonik XTRACTOR Transition Carp Rod 8 - 10 ft model 8-10ft / 3.75lb
Sonik XTRACTOR Transition Carp Rod with Adjustable Length 8–10 ft / Sonik / AC0216
Sonik XTRACTOR Transition Carp Rod 8–10 ft – variable-length carp rods
The Sonik XTRACTOR Transition Carp Rod 8–10 ft is a two-piece carp rod featuring the Intra-loc system, allowing you to choose between two working lengths. It enables you to use a shorter configuration on tight swims and extend the rod when fishing conditions require greater reach when handling your rig.
Two working lengths, 8 and 10 ft, with the Intra-loc system
The Intra-loc adjustment system allows you to change the rod length without replacing it with another model. The 8 ft setting makes it easier to manoeuvre your gear in confined spaces, while the 10 ft configuration provides a longer rod for rig control and playing fish. The range includes models with 3.25 lb and 3.75 lb test curves.
High-modulus blank and BulletPoint tip
The blank is made from high-modulus, low-resin carbon fibre, combining power with reduced overall weight. The BulletPoint tip recovers quickly after casting the rig, reducing vibration and supporting casting accuracy. The blank's external structure is reinforced with a matte 1K carbon weave.
VARI-TAPER joint for performance in both configurations
The VARI-TAPER section joint has been designed to maintain a smooth rod action curve. It helps retain consistent performance characteristics both at 8 ft and when extended to 10 ft.
Ti-Forged Air guides and 40 mm butt guide
The 8–10 ft versions are fitted with American Tackle Ti-Forged Air guides featuring a Shadow Black PVD coating and a 40 mm butt guide. The coating increases the wear resistance of the guide surfaces. The American Tackle Delta Black Anti-frap tip guide with a NanoLite ceramic ring reduces the risk of the line wrapping around the rod tip.
