Fox Edges Naturals Silicone – silicone tubing for carp rigs and hooklinks
Fox Edges Naturals Silicone is silicone tubing for positioning the Hair and mounting terminal tackle components. It allows you to set the point where the hair leaves the hook shank or secure beads on the Leader, depending on the rig design and matching diameters.
Positioning the hair on the hook shank
A short section of tubing holds the hair against the hook shank. Moving the tubing allows you to change the point where the hair leaves the hook and adjust its position to suit the hooklink design. Naturals silicone tubing for hooks
Mounting beads in chod and helicopter rigs
Silicone tubing is also used for securing beads on leaders in chod and helicopter rigs. The tubing diameter should be matched to the leader and bead bore so that the components work together as intended in the given rig. Naturals silicone tubing for leaders
Dark green Naturals colour
The dark green colour helps reduce the visibility of the tubing on the lakebed. The tubing can be cut to the required length for securing the hair or mounting terminal tackle components.
Small and Large versions
The Small and Large versions differ in diameter, while both are 1.5 m long. The choice of version should be based on the dimensions of the hook or components mounted on the leader; the size designation alone does not determine compatibility with every rig.
