SPOMB Spod Rods for Spodding with a Rocket
SPOMB rods are a specialised range of rods designed for repeated casting of heavy baiting setups. The range includes models in 12 and 13 ft lengths, with test curves from 5.50 to 6.00 lb. The blank’s substantial power reserve handles the loads generated when using a filled rocket. These are spod rods designed for baiting from the bank using bait rockets.
SPOMB 12 and 13 ft Spod Rods
The 12 ft versions offer more versatile use, while the 13 ft models provide a longer casting lever and are intended for baiting at greater distances. Individual SPOMB rods differ in power, action and the components used, but all are primarily designed for efficiently delivering bait to the fishing spot. This category is a branded addition to the SPOD and marker rods range, with the current SPOMB offer focused on casting rockets rather than feature finding with a marker rod.
