Gardner is a brand specialising in carp fishing tackle and terminal tackle components. Its ready-made rigs include both classic hair rigs and setups designed to present a floating bait above the lakebed.
Hook Sizes, Barbs and Multi-Packs
Gardner rigs are available with different hook sizes, and selected models are also offered in barbless versions. Individual variants differ in length, material and hook section finish. The range also includes packs containing several rigs, making it easier to prepare spare rigs of the same construction for a session.
Ready-made rigs allow you to replace a worn rig while maintaining the parameters of your previously selected setup. Depending on the model, the hook section features a traditional hair, a kicker or a movable bait attachment.
Bottom Presentation, Pop-Ups and PVA Bags
For bottom baits and particles, there are, among others, classic hair rigs. Solutions for pop-ups include Ronnie Rig as well as Chod Rig and Hinged Stiff Rig. The Ronnie Rig enables a low presentation of a floating bait, while Chod and Hinged rigs use a stiff hook section with a distinctive curve.
Gardner also offers short PVA bag rigs, which fit inside the bag together with the lead and bait. Thanks to the variety of constructions, you can put together rigs for several bait presentations while retaining your preferred hooks and solutions from the same brand.
