RidgeMonkey Escape XFi Airect Bivvy & Pods Full Set – bivvy and pod set
RidgeMonkey Escape XFi Airect Bivvy & Pods Full Set is an inflatable Carp Fishing Bivvy set with a kitchen pod and a shower and Toilet pod. It allows you to create separate living, meal preparation and sanitary areas during longer sessions.
XFi Airect Bivvy – HydroX 300D and inner capsule
The main part of the set features breathable HydroX 300D ripstop fabric with a 20,000 mm hydrostatic head and a fixed PVC groundsheet. The removable inner capsule with its own groundsheet and Vapour Shield help reduce condensation. Mozzie mesh panels at the front, sides and rear allow ventilation to be adjusted. The door panel can be fitted to the main compartment or at the front of the peak, creating a sheltered porch area.
Kitchen Pod – kitchen pod with removable PE groundsheet
The Kitchen Pod extends the bivvy with a space for meal preparation, dining and storing equipment. The HydroX 150D fabric has a 15,000 mm hydrostatic head, while two side windows with mozzie mesh and a roof vent allow airflow to be adjusted. Detachable pockets keep smaller accessories organised. The separate PE groundsheet can be removed for cleaning and drying.
Shower & Toilet Pod – two cabins with a zipped divider
The sanitary pod includes a front shower cabin and a rear toilet area. A zipped divider separates both zones, ensuring privacy. Each cabin has its own removable PE groundsheet and mesh pockets. HydroX 150D fabric, a rear window with mozzie mesh and an adjustable roof vent combine weather protection with interior ventilation.
Airect inflatable construction and side zip connections
The pods attach to the sides of the bivvy via zips running along the connection points. The Airect structures are inflated using the included hand pump. Aluminium tension bars keep the fabric taut, while guy ropes and pegs stabilise the pitched set-up. Separate bags make it easier to divide the bivvy, pods and accessories during transport.
