Nash Scope OPS Dark Cork
Nash Scope OPS Dark Cork is a range of compact carp rods with a telescopic butt section and a full dark cork handle. It combines a short transport length with a lightweight, responsive blank designed for mobile fishing from the bank and boat.
30T blank with reduced twist
The blank is made from high-modulus 30T carbon fibre, complemented by a 1K Toray carbon weave and 45° fibre reinforcements. This construction reduces lateral flex and blank twist, helping to maintain rod stability during casting and when under load.
The telescopic butt section allows the rod to be shortened for transport without the need for a multi-section design. Depending on the length, the rod measures from 76 to 127 cm when packed down.
Dark Cork handle and refined finish
The full dark cork handle provides a secure grip and gives the rod a classic appearance. The DPS reel seat features a carbon sleeve, a shaped thumb rest and the Nash logo.
Lightweight Minima guides help reduce the overall weight of the rod. The 6 ft models feature a 30 mm butt guide, 9 and 10 ft versions with a 3.25 lb test curve feature a 40 mm guide, while 9 and 10 ft models with a 3.50 lb test curve feature a 50 mm guide.
Butt Lock Peg System
The butt section is compatible with the Butt Lock Peg system, allowing the rod to be anchored directly into the ground. This solution is ideal for mobile fishing, where reducing the amount of bankware carried is important. The appropriate anchoring peg is available separately.
