Nash Scope OPS - Abbreviated (Ceramic Guide)
Nash Scope OPS rods in the Abbreviated version with Ceramic Guides (CG) are an evolution of the iconic Scope range, designed for the most demanding carp anglers. Built on 30-tonne low-resin carbon fibre blanks with an external 1K Toray weave, they offer responsiveness, fast tip recovery after casting and excellent power transfer – both when casting and playing fish.
The key advantage of the CG version is the Ceramic Guides, which guarantee exceptional durability, abrasion resistance and perfect performance with braided line. Regardless of how intensively they are used, they remain smooth and do not wear out like guides without an inner ring. This is particularly important when fishing in demanding conditions – around snags, with stiff hooklinks or when using snag leaders.
The telescopic butt section ensures easy transport and compact dimensions when packed down, while the split Abbreviated handle made from black Duplon provides a secure, comfortable grip. Each rod also features a carbon DPS reel seat with a thumb recess, engraved Nash logo and the patented Butt Lock Peg system, allowing the rod to be securely anchored without using a Rod Rest.
