Nash Scope OPS Sawn Off Retract Landing Net 42 – compact carp landing net
The Nash Scope OPS Sawn Off Retract Landing Net 42 is a carp landing net with a 42″ mesh and a two-section carbon fibre handle. One section of the handle also extends telescopically, allowing the construction to reach a length of up to 198 cm, while measuring just 75 cm when packed down.
Two-section handle with telescopic section
The handle consists of two separate sections, allowing for a significant reduction in transport dimensions. One of its sections features additional telescopic adjustment, enabling the landing net's working length to be adapted to the conditions at the swim.
The extendable section is secured with a twist-lock mechanism. Once both sections are connected and the telescopic section is fully extended, the handle reaches a maximum length of 198 cm.
1K carbon fibre and folding arms
The handle is made from lightweight 1K weave carbon fibre, keeping the entire landing net at 1 kg. The low weight makes it easier to handle the net when landing fish from a boat, platform or tight swim.
The folding arms are fitted into an aluminium spreader block using a slide-and-twist system. The arms are inserted and then secured with a short twisting motion, making it easier to assemble and pack away the landing net.
Short-term fish retention system
The butt section of the handle is compatible with the Nash Scope Butt Lock Peg T1990. Once fitted, the landing net can be anchored at the bank, the arms folded and the mesh secured around the landed fish using the integrated Velcro strap.
This solution allows the carp to remain in the water while preparing the unhooking mat, scales and other accessories. The system is intended solely for short-term fish retention under constant supervision and does not replace a Carp Sack or retention sling.
Mobile landing net for boat and bank fishing
The transport dimensions of 75 × 10 × 10 cm make the landing net easy to carry in a small car, boat or alongside other Scope equipment. The construction also performs well for Stalking and frequent moves between swims.
The 42″ mesh provides the space needed to land a carp. The mesh is reinforced at key points and finished with the Scope Compass logo.
