Gardner Bite Alarms
Gardner bite alarms with the ATTs system feature a simple design and operate differently from most classic models. The alarm itself has no speaker or adjustment dials. It detects line movement and wirelessly sends information to the receiver, which indicates a bite with sound, light or vibration. Limiting the number of buttons and moving parts helps increase the device's resistance to water and intensive use during fishing sessions.
Simple Gardner ATTs System
Gardner ATTs alarms switch on when the protective cover is removed, as it also serves as the power switch. Once fishing is finished, simply refit the cover to switch the device off and protect it during transport.
The standard roller with two magnets transmits a signal after a specific line movement. It can be replaced with a four- or six-magnet roller, allowing the alarm to react more frequently to line movement. This makes it possible to adjust bite indication to conditions at the venue and personal preferences.
Individual versions can also be found in the wider category of single bite alarms.
Gardner ATTs Underlit and Crystal Underlit
The Gardner ATTs Underlit Wheel Alarm features an LED positioned beneath the roller, illuminating its lower section when a bite occurs. The alarm is available in multiple colours, allowing a specific colour to be assigned to each rod.
The Crystal Underlit version has a transparent housing that lights up when it receives a signal. At the same time, it retains the distinctive features of the ATTs system: no speaker, built-in transmitter, interchangeable rollers and a simple dial-free design.
Gardner ATTx V2 and Deluxe Receivers
ATTs alarms require a compatible receiver, as it is the receiver that provides sound and vibration. The Gardner V2 ATTx Receiver supports up to five channels and allows volume and tone adjustment. A vibration function is also available, useful during night sessions or when using silent mode.
The more advanced ATTx Deluxe receiver has ten channels, a wider choice of tones, volume adjustment and vibration mode. It works with ATT alarms and V2 transmitters, making it a suitable base for a larger system used with several rods.
Other receivers from various brands can be compared in the bite alarm receivers category. However, when choosing one, always check compatibility with the Gardner ATTs or ATTx system.
