Baiting Spoon with Holes
A baiting spoon is used to scatter bait around the fishing spot, as well as to facilitate its mixing in a bucket. Every carp angler should have a baiting spoon in their gear, as it significantly eases the fishing process. There are many different types of spoons or baiting paddles available on the market, adapted to various baiting techniques.
Distinctive Features of a Baiting Spoon
Shape - Spoons come in various shapes that facilitate their use under different conditions. Wide, large spoons make it easier to scoop more bait and scatter it around the rig when fishing with a bait boat, while elongated spoons with an oval finish are excellent for baiting at longer distances. Spoon shapes are also designed to comfortably scoop bait directly from the bucket.
Holes - We can find models with and without holes on the market. While holes are useful when baiting with dry boilies or pellets, scooping grains from a bucket filled with water can be cumbersome. Holes allow excess water to drain, making it much more comfortable to bait the fishing spot.
Thread - A baiting spoon comes either with a permanently fixed, typically short handle, or with a thread. The thread allows for the attachment of the spoon to a short handle or a long pole, which significantly improves the range of the scattered bait.
