The Dot Spod Air bait rocket allows for an effective baiting method due to its design that enables it to open mid-air! This model comes in the Black color variant with a blue nose cone. The Dot Spod Air features a special quick-release clip, which is armed after loading the rocket with bait. During the cast, the clip releases a mechanism that, when tensioned by the line caused by "catching" the clip on the reel, releases the contents of the rocket in the air, just above the fishing spot. This method of bait delivery is particularly effective on fisheries where fish may react negatively to the splash caused by a rocket entering the water - releasing bait over the fishing spot eliminates this effect. After bait release, the rocket lands quietly before the baited area, while the sound of bait scattering over a wide area often acts as an attractive lure for fish and also allows for the creation of larger bait patches. The rocket is available in two sizes: Small and Medium, allowing you to easily choose the model to match the quantity of bait and the distance you are baiting.
Tip: If you fish in waters where fish like to feed near the shores lined with bushes, banks with hanging or fallen trees, using the Dot Spod Air allows you to safely "throw" bait there and create bait trails that will help lure fish out of those areas and give you a chance to effectively fish from a cast.
