Accessories for Attaching Feeder Baits
Rubber, bayonet, stopper, or screw?
The method of attaching the bait affects its position relative to the hook and its resistance to casting. Rubbers hold pellet or dumbells without drilling, bayonets and screws are embedded in suitably firm bait, and stoppers secure the hair from sliding off the boilies. Each solution requires adjustment to the shape and hardness of the bait.
Small element, big difference in presentation
The size of the attachment should hold the bait without tearing it and without unnecessarily pushing it away from the bend of the hook. It is worth testing the ready rig in water, especially with balanced baits.
