Sinking baits maintain contact with the bottom without balancing the hook weight. They can take the form of a boilie, dumbbell, or other shapes designed for attachment on the hair rig, rubber band, bait needle, or screw. Their final position depends on the hardness of the bottom, hair length, and the weight of other rig components.

Size and Attachment Without Cracking

Select the diameter according to the hook size and the size of the fish, and the attachment method according to the bait’s consistency. The hard variant can be drilled through or mounted on a screw, while the softer one may require a rubber band. After mounting, check if the hook point remains exposed.
