Groundbait pellets can fill the method feeder cage, be added to loose mixes, or be presented separately. The pellet diameter affects soaking speed, the amount that fits in the basket, and the breakdown rate. Fine pellets create a compact portion, while larger ones distinctly increase the food fraction.
Soaking Without Creating a Pulp
Preparation time depends on diameter, water temperature, and product composition. After soaking, the pellet should hold together during the cast but release upon settling. Testing near the shore helps avoid both overdrying and excessive sticking. Other feeder groundbaits allow building a base mix. Aroma or moisture can be carefully adjusted using dedicated liquid fishing attractors.
