Hooklink Rigs for Casting
Carp hooklink rigs for casting include designs suitable for delivering the rig with a rod. Their construction helps maintain the correct position of the hook section during casting, prevents hooklink tangles and enables effective bait presentation once it settles on the bottom. In this category, you will find ready-made models in various lengths, breaking strains and hook sizes, matched to the presentation style and bait type.
A stiffer hooklink section, the right length and components that keep it away from the lead help reduce the risk of tangles. Individual designs use these solutions to varying degrees — from coated braid to stiff mono and fluorocarbon materials. At the same time, a soft section near the hook or a flexible connection between sections allows the bait to move freely.
Hooklink Rigs for Bottom Baits, Wafters and Pop-Ups
Various types of hooklink rigs are suitable for casting, and their use also depends on the type of bait. Selected classic carp hair rigs allow the presentation of sinking boilies and particles. The range also includes designs for wafters as well as Ronnie Rig and Spinner Rig hooklink rigs, popular for presenting pop-ups, or floating baits.
A separate solution is offered by carp hooklink rigs for PVA bags, placed inside the bag together with the lead and bait when preparing the rig. In this setup, the package itself also protects against tangling during casting, which is why short, soft hooklinks work well here. The casting category therefore includes both rigs for conventional casting and models designed for this method of delivering the rig.
