Chod Rig and Hinged Stiff Rig carp leaders

A carp rig is one of the most crucial elements of a carp fishing setup. The most basic carp rig typically consists of a section of leader material made from braid, fluorocarbon, or mono line, as well as a carp hook. A professional carp rig often includes additional features such as a hook positioner, weighting elements, or swivels, which greatly increase its effectiveness. Many carp anglers, due to lack of time or the inability to tie their own, opt for ready-made carp rigs, which are widely available on the market.

Which type of carp rig should you choose?

The basic division of carp rigs is into casting rigs and those used for bait delivery systems. They are also divided into pop-up carp rigs and rigs for sinking baits. Another important aspect is choosing the right rig strength to effectively fish in waters with very cautious fish, as well as those littered with numerous underwater snags, where high resistance to heavy strain is crucial.

In our store, you will find every type of rig, so you can always choose the right one for your fishing method, type of bait, and the conditions you will be fishing in.
