Korda Kaizen Green Rod 13ft Carp Rod
The 13ft model from the Korda Kaizen Green series is the most advanced and strongest rod in this line, designed for carp anglers who regularly fish at very long distances. This model is built for precise casts over 150, and even 200 meters – without compromising blank performance or control during the fight.
Despite its extreme casting potential, the blank is not overly stiff – allowing for easy loading while effectively transferring energy from the butt section to the tip. This balance between stiffness and flexibility makes the 13-foot model highly appreciated by both professional long-distance anglers and participants of casting courses – often matching the casting range of much more expensive rods.
The blank is crafted using a fast taper conical matrix, enabling very fast tip action speeds and maximizing casting power. At the same time, the flexible tip effectively absorbs sudden runs from the fish at short range – even under high line tension during the fight.
The rod is equipped with Sea-Guide TDG stainless steel guides – lightweight and extremely durable, featuring ADAMAN coating for smooth line flow and abrasion resistance. The setup includes a 50 mm butt guide and a 16 mm tip guide – standard for rods designed for extreme casting distances. The butt section is covered with a Japanese heat-shrink tube, finished with an extended handle for improved grip. The high-quality Sea-Guide DPS reel seat ensures stable reel mounting even under heavy loads.
