Bite alarms with a receiver are ready-made sets for carp anglers who want to keep their rods under control even when they are in the bivvy or another part of the swim. Mounted beneath the rods, the alarms respond to line movement during a bite, while the wireless receiver picks up their signal and alerts you with sound, light or vibration from a distance. This is a convenient solution for both short trips and multi-day overnight sessions.

2+1, 3+1 and 4+1 bite alarm sets

This category includes bite alarm sets with receivers in various configurations. The 2+1 designation means two alarms and one receiver, 3+1 — three alarms and a receiver, while 4+1 — four alarms and a receiver. This allows you to match the set to the number of rods used during a session. The current Rockworld range includes all of these most popular variants.

Useful features during a session

Depending on the model, carp bite alarms may feature adjustable volume, tone and sensitivity. More advanced sets can also distinguish between a run and a drop-back bite, offer a silent mode, LED colour change or receiver vibration. Some sets additionally include a bivvy light, hangers, rod protection or a hard transport case. The range of features always depends on the specific system.

Expanding your bite alarm system

Some sets can later be expanded with individual bite alarms, but the additional alarm must be compatible with the receiver in use and the specific series. Receivers for bite alarms are also available separately, useful when building or expanding a compatible system. Selected sets may also work with motion sensors and lights for bite alarms.
