Gradual Release of Live Baits
The maggot feeder is a closed feeder with holes through which maggots escape after the rig has settled. It allows delivering a small, controlled portion directly near the hook. The size and number of holes affect the release rate, as do the activity and size of the baits used.
Filling and Weight Selection
The closure should work securely while allowing quick refilling of the basket. Do not overfill the chamber, as this restricts the movement of the maggots.
