Korda xt Snag Leader
The Korda xt Snag Leader is an exceptionally strong and abrasion-resistant monofilament leader. It can be used with both braided and monofilament main lines. When fishing with braids, the leader acts as the initial shock absorber. Monofilament leaders are especially effective in waters filled with snags like submerged trees, as they don't cut into the water-soaked wood like braids do; instead, they slide over the surface. This type of leader is particularly recommended for baiting with a boat, as tying it to the main line/leader creates a relatively large knot which can hinder casting, especially if you are planning to cast long distances. The monofilament material is also much more resistant to abrasion from zebra mussels, crayfish, or rocks.
