Shimano Tribal TX-9A Carp Rod
The TX-9A series of carp rods with the Spiral X blank is the latest process in manufacturing HPC300 carbon fibers with the addition of Biobre fibers using NanoAlloy technology. The result is one of the thinnest and strongest blanks ever produced, with enhanced casting properties, while maintaining the action needed in the top and middle sections to keep the fish on the hook. The rod is equipped with light yet extremely durable Kigan 3D Zirconia guides that match nicely with the steel-gray blank. The starting 40mm guide on a high frame seems too small, but performs as efficiently as the traditional 50mm guide. The slim EVA handle is optimally sized to ensure the best casting with rods of any length category. The TX-9A is equipped with a Shimano CI4+ reel seat. The Intensity model is designed for extreme casting and comes in two lengths: 12' (3.66 m) and 13' (3.96 m).
