Avid Carp VTX+ Bite Alarm
The Avid Carp VTX+ Bite Alarm is an advanced electronic bite indicator designed for carp anglers who demand the highest precision, reliability, and cutting-edge technology. At the heart of the model is the IQ-Sense Roller-Wheel & Bi-Directional Sensing system, offering 8 sensitivity levels and detecting both forward and backward movements. This solution eliminates false alerts, guaranteeing a trustworthy indication of a genuine bite.
The high-quality ChromaLight LED lighting system uses dual 5mm LEDs available in six selectable colors (green, blue, red, yellow, white, purple) and three brightness levels, including an active night light option. This ensures the alarm remains visible in all lighting conditions.
The device is fully compatible with the Avid Carp VTX+ EPS Receiver, providing a stable connection up to 250 meters while maintaining lossless signal transmission. The built-in SafeGuard Anti-Theft Alert activates a warning alarm if the alarm head is turned off, protecting your gear from theft attempts.
A robust, waterproof IPX6-rated housing protects the electronics from rain and moisture while ensuring low power consumption. The alarm is powered by two AAA batteries, with a blue LED indicator signaling low battery levels. A premium cone speaker guarantees a clear, crisp sound even in windy conditions.
The model features a 2.5 mm Power-Out socket with a sealed plug, allowing connection of illuminated swingers or bobbins. Settings are adjusted via soft touch buttons and three precise dials for volume, tone, and sensitivity control.
Thanks to deep ears with rubber inserts, your rod remains stable even during sudden runs, and the 3/8” metal thread with an anti-rotation lock and rubber washer ensures secure mounting.
The bite alarm comes supplied with a hard protective case and a screwdriver. Sets including the VTX+ central unit for 2, 3, or 4 rods are also available.
