Why should you use polarised sunglasses?
Vertical light waves reflected from objects refract and switch orientation to horizontal, becoming glare. Polarised sunglasses block horizontal waves reflected from surfaces such as water or clouds. As a result, we can see much more beneath the water surface, especially on sunny days when the light penetrates deep into the water and the reflected light from the surface prevents us from seeing what lies underneath.
