Additional protection for hands, feet and neck

Fishing gloves are available in insulated, softshell, neoprene and waterproof versions. Individual designs differ in insulation, moisture resistance and freedom when handling tackle. The use of neoprene alone does not guarantee complete waterproofness – the seams, cuff finish and overall glove construction also matter.

Fishing socks include lightweight, thermal, wool and waterproof models. They can be matched to the season and the type of fishing footwear used. Neck warmers and scarves protect the neck and face and, depending on the material, can provide protection against cold, wind or intense sunlight.
