NawiPoland Catamaran Dinghy CAT 330
The catamaran-type dinghy is 330cm long and accommodates up to 4 passengers. It has been designed with anglers in mind. The catamaran shape has many advantages that surpass standard dinghies, making it an increasingly popular choice among professional anglers. First and foremost, it has a raised floor above the water surface, and only the sides are in direct contact with the water. This results in significantly less resistance and friction while sailing, translating into lower engine energy consumption. Such a design also makes steering easier and improves speed performance. Another considerable advantage of catamarans is their increased width compared to traditional dinghies. This provides more deck space, which is important for carrying equipment or large amounts of bait, and also enhances the vessel's stability. The material used in the catamarans has a density of 1000g/m2. It is resistant to all kinds of creases from transportation, abrasion, or stretching. It is also crucial that it withstands all weather conditions, is UV-resistant, and is protected against stains. Each seam of the material connections is additionally secured with a strong PVC strip on both sides of the material, and reinforcing straps placed in the most critical areas prevent wear against concrete edges or gravelly ground. Besides the floor, the catamaran is equipped with two beams. The front beam is a rigid extension of the floor, while the rear is adapted for use with outboard engines.
The dinghy is available with either a full floor or an inflatable floor:
Full ALU-reinforced floor: Made from durable, water-resistant plywood. It has aluminum inserts at the joints and an anti-slip finish surface.
AIRDECK floor: An inflatable floor. Made from an extremely thick, reinforced material that allows it to be inflated with high-pressure air. Due to its stiffness comparable to plywood flooring, it is a better choice for people who often fold the catamaran for transport, as it is definitely easier and faster to fold and transport than a rigid, wooden floor. Additionally, this floor is lighter than plywood.
