The Korda Spring Bow 5ft + 5ft Net 42in is a carp landing net designed for anglers who demand maximum versatility and reliable gear. It combines modern solutions with classic design, offering exceptional lightness, stiffness, and ease of use.
The construction is made from ultra-light, high-quality carbon fiber with a satin black finish. The inverted cone-shaped handle enhances grip comfort, and its diameter ensures optimal stiffness with minimal weight. The end features a precisely machined stainless steel 316 spike that protects the handle and makes it easier to plant in the ground or lakebed.
The unique JAG Engineered Spreader Block is the result of years of testing – lightweight, extremely durable, and very easy to operate. Reinforced ribs and the perfect 91° arm angle give the landing net an ideal shape, while anodized, rounded arm tips protect the net from damage. A strong, zero-stretch green cord maintains perfect net tension, reducing water resistance during maneuvers.
The 5ft + 5ft model features a modular handle design. The standard 5ft (1.5m) section can be extended with an additional 2ft (30cm) or 5ft (1.5m), creating lengths of 7ft (2.1m) or 10ft (3m). This makes the net perfect for shallow banks, steep banks, and Zig Rig fishing – the full 10ft (3m) length significantly eases landing fish from greater distances.
The landing net requires no additional floats – it naturally floats on the water, aiding handling during the fish fight. The shallow Hexmesh Shallow Mesh reduces water resistance while being gentle on the fish. The set includes a sturdy dark camo carrying case with an extra pocket for the net.
