The Korda Chod Rig – Short (Barbless) are ready-to-use Chod Rig leaders in a barbless version, designed to deliver an effective and ethical presentation of buoyant baits. They are made on Korda Choddy Barbless hooks and stiff Korda Mouth Trap material, ensuring a secure hook hold and high durability.

Each leader is finished with a swivel and ring sliding smoothly along leadcore, fluorocarbon, leader, or other rig materials, allowing for natural rig movement. Chod Rig leaders perform well over all types of lakebeds – from hard to very soft – providing effectiveness in any conditions.

The Short version (approx. 4 cm) was developed for a more compact and precise bait presentation just above the bottom. Its design practically eliminates the risk of tangles during casting, enhancing comfort and confidence while fishing. This short model is especially suitable for fishing over hard bottoms.

This leader can also serve as a base for creating a Hinged Stiff Rig setup by adding a stiff boom. This solution is highly valued by carp anglers fishing demanding waters.
