The Wiley X AXE model in Matte Black Frame is designed for those who expect not only excellent eye protection but also an elegant look and all-day comfort. The classic, slightly sporty design is enhanced with a range of technologies ensuring eye safety, maximum durability, and comfort in the most demanding conditions.
At the heart of the model are CAPTIVATE™ Polarized Grey lenses, which balance the visible light spectrum by eliminating glare and enhancing the perception of greens and contrasts. This helps keep your eyes rested and makes details in the field more visible. The balanced light transmission makes these glasses perfect for intense sunlight, over water, and in dynamic outdoor environments.
High impact resistance is provided by lenses made of Selenite™ Polycarbonate, protected with additional coatings: an oleophobic coating (repelling grease and water), anti-reflective coating, and T-Shell™ for enhanced scratch resistance. The frame is made from exceptionally durable Triloid™ Nylon, with stainless steel temples for reliability and long product life.
User comfort is enhanced with rubberized nose pads and temple tips, which stabilize the glasses even during intense movement. The set also includes side shields that can be easily removed or permanently attached depending on your needs—these increase eye protection from the sides, especially in challenging outdoor conditions.
