The Nash Scope OPS 9ft rods in the Abbreviated version embody the essence of a modern approach to mobile carp fishing. They combine a compact length with exceptional power, control, and durability. Crafted from blanks made of high-modulus 30T carbon with low resin content and an external 1K Toray braid, they offer fast blank recovery, elasticity, and perfect energy transfer during casting and fighting fish.
The construction enhanced with 45° fibers reduces blank twisting and improves accuracy even at longer distances and heavier loads. The 9ft version with a telescopic butt provides the ideal balance between length and control – perfect for both mobile bank fishing and boat fishing, while remaining transport-friendly. Available action curves range from 3.00lb up to a powerful 4.00lb, allowing you to select a model for any situation – from delicate rigs to battling big fish and casting heavy PVA bags or even spombs!
The Abbreviated version features a classic split handle made of black Duplon, ensuring a secure grip. This model utilizes lightweight Minima guides, modern DPS reel seats with a carbon insert, and a flattened thumb rest. The new Nash Butt Lock Peg system allows you to securely anchor the rod without a rear rest – an ideal solution for quick sessions or when the rod must be firmly positioned on the bank!
