Shimano Medium Baitrunner CI4+ XTB Carp Reel
The CI4+ version of the Baitrunner is designed for carp anglers seeking a long-range reel that combines incredible performance with a stunning appearance. Made from the latest CI4+ (Carbon Interfusion) composite, it has an incredibly reduced weight that almost defies logic. The new model is a medium version perfect for middle to long-distance fishing. CI4+, considered by some to be the best Baitrunner model to date, is equipped with X-Ship technology and 6 shielded SA-RB bearings for high efficiency and smooth operation. Aero Wrap II and slow oscillation ensure excellent line lay on the spool, which in turn increases casting range by minimizing line friction. A large aluminum handle, strong gearing, and a multi-disc drag system provide powerful line retrieval and exceptional control over the fish, whether fighting at a distance or close to the net.
