Sonik AXS V2 XL Bivvy Carp Tent
The Sonik AXS V2 XL Bivvy carp tent is an excellent choice for anglers who value durability and functionality. Building on the success of the AXS XL Bivvy model, the V2 XL version is constructed around the incredibly durable AXS ALLOY central block and a lightweight, anti-twist 6061 aluminum frame, ensuring quick and stable setup and takedown. Additionally, the AXS-V2 XL is made with ultra-strong, reinforced double walls in areas exposed to the greatest stress.
The tent material has been updated to the new Cloudbase+™ fabric with a waterproof rating of 16,000mm HH, which is not only durable but also lightweight and exceptionally waterproof. The frame is designed with a high, flat back and steep sides, maximizing internal space, perfect for longer sessions both in the UK and Europe. The AXS-V2 XL also has the option of installing an inner capsule, which is available as a separate element.
The large front canopy with rain protection provides additional coverage and is ideal for protecting the entrance from adverse weather conditions. An additional advantage for international trips is the possibility of installing a very strong groundsheet, which can be attached with a zipper or snap. The groundsheet features a flap near the entrance to prevent dirt from being brought inside the tent. This solution keeps the floor dry and clean. The tent also has a zip-in front panel equipped with side mosquito net windows and a fully configurable front door system.
Other advantages include internal pockets at the front and rear of the tent and options for full/transparent door panels. There are three large windows at the back, which can be opened from inside the tent, providing excellent airflow. The set also includes four adjustable cross ventilation rods, a large compression bag, two 48-inch quick-setup Stormpoles, guy ropes, and a set of heavy-duty T-pegs.
