Why should you use polarising sunglasses?
Vertical light waves reflected off objects bend and change to a horizontal orientation, turning into glare. Polarising sunglasses block these horizontal waves reflected from surfaces such as water or clouds. As a result, we can see much more under the water surface, especially on sunny days when light penetrates deep into the water and reflected light from the surface prevents us from seeing what's hiding beneath.
