The larger Retreat bivvy comes with an included inner capsule. The capsule creates a sealed space that prevents condensation and also protects against insects and rodents. The 2 Man version is a gigantic bivvy that can easily accommodate 2 bedchairs and all your gear! Its special design is based on aluminum poles which have significantly changed the shape - resulting in more usable space inside the bivvy. The secret lies in the fact that the first sections of the poles are bent at such an angle that the side walls are almost vertical at 90 degrees (the side walls are almost upright and you can place a bedchair very close to the edge of the bivvy!). The breathable Vent-Tec Rip Stop material has a water resistance of 20,000 mm. In addition to huge front and rear ventilation windows, the bivvy also features extra side ventilation windows which further improve the thermal comfort inside during hot days! You can also purchase an additional overwrap that further reduces water vapor condensation on the inside of the bivvy and provides extra thermal insulation in both hot weather and during cold autumn or early spring sessions. The front panel is removable, allowing you to live in an open bivvy with a stunning view in favorable conditions:) The door on the front panel comes in 3 versions: solid, clear, and with a mesh to provide functionality in all weather conditions. If you fish in extreme conditions, you can use additional strong tension straps to stabilize the bivvy, mounted at the front of the bivvy - this type of solution is only available in the new FOX Retreat +.
