The Nash Scope OPS 6ft rod in the Abbreviated version (split handle finished with foam) is a short, mobile unit with exceptional power. Despite its length of just 6 feet, it delivers unmatched strength and precision thanks to a high-quality 30T carbon blank with low resin content and an outer 1K Toray weave. Additionally, a 45° fiber reinforcement reduces blank twisting and enhances casting accuracy – even under heavy load.
This model is designed for anglers who refuse to compromise but need a compact solution – ideal for fishing in challenging conditions, from a boat, from the bank, or during fast, mobile sessions. The 3.5lb curve easily handles large carp, heavy rigs, and even fishing in snaggy areas or currents, while the 3lb curve is perfect when the venue is less demanding regarding snags or vegetation and you want to enjoy an even more thrilling fish fight.
Equipped with lightweight Minima guides (30 mm starter, 10 mm tip), a reel seat with a carbon insert, and a sleek black split Duplon handle in the Abbreviated style. The kit also includes the innovative Nash Butt Lock Peg system – allowing you to anchor the rod directly into the ground without rests (anchoring pins sold separately).
